William Myron Barlow, 29, died April 11, 2008 due to a fatal combination of prescription medications.
William was born on May 6, 1978 in Ogden, Utah. He spent his early years in Brigham City and Ogden and attended Bonneville High School. William had a beautiful voice and an amazing gift of playing the piano. He was passionate about music and we know that his gift remains with him. William also had a keen mind and memory and loved to share interesting facts with everyone. William was a kind and gentle soul. He left many friends who will miss his caring words and love.
Bill is survived by his parents, Myron and Nancy Barlow; his siblings, Tiffany Roush Mehner (Glenn), Elise Adams (Dean), Jennifer Gustaveson (Alan), and Tom Barlow (Kenzie). He also leaves his sweet Aunt Sydney Cook and several nieces and nephews. We know that Bill was welcomed home by loving grandparents and his brother-in-law, Matt Roush who preceded him in death. The Barlow family's hope is for others who struggle with drug abuse as William did to realize the seriousness of prescription drug addiction. William felt that he was in control of his drug use but he was not.
Funeral Services will be held at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary in Layton, Utah on Thursday, April 17 at 11 am. A Viewing will be held there on Wednesday, April 16 from 6-8 p.m. and again one hour before the Funeral.
Interment will be in the Kaysville City Cemetery.
