Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, Bob Barley, age 75, passed away peacefully May 13, 2014.
Bob joined the U.S. Navy at age 18 and served 10 years active duty . He went to work for Pacific Bell in northern California and remained a Naval Reservist for 24 years. The military was very important to Bob and he received three extensions before he was "aged out!" Bob retired at age 52 from Pac Bell and enjoyed many years of bowling, golfing and working as a hot at Angel Park until his passing. He was also a chronic coffee drinker with a gift of gab. He loved good conversations and good talk with anyone about anything. He was kind and greeted everyone with a smile and a handshake.
"So long friend, pops, uncle Bob, grandpa. We will all miss you and we will know that you are bowling with God when the thunder rolls.
