She was born June 19, 1926 in Rayburn Township to Roy and Bessie (Kunselman) Barker.
Mrs. Simpson attended the Mt. Union Bible Church.
Her hobby was crocheting.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and had a passion for the outdoors.
Survivors include one son, one daughter, five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Simpson, who died March 3, 2002; and one brother, Kenneth Barker.
Friends of June C. (Barker) Simpson, 75, of Kittanning RD2, who died May 8, 2002, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Inc., 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Jack Peters, her pastor, officiating.
Interment will take place in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, East Franklin Township.
