Mrs. Barker was born Feb. 28, 1922, in Fort Scott, Kans. She was a member of First Christian Church, and a retired business manager for J. C. Penney. Mrs. Barker enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking for the man in her life, traveling and creating counted cross stitch pieces.
On Dec. 30, 1945, she married John B. Barker, in Fort Scott, Kans. He survives.
Other survivors include her son, Randy Barker and wife Eddisu, of Grove, Okla.; four grandchildren, Craig Barker, Mykkisu Quimby, Anna Shed and Tim Cox; and three great-grandchildren, Aubree Cox, Austin Cox and Rachel Quimby.
Her parents Audie and Niles Graves, grandson, Eric Barker, sister, Madreen Smiley and brother, Millard Graves preceded Mrs. Barker in death.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel, with Dr. Steven Williams officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
