Chico Record, Wednesday Morning, October 10, 1910, pg 3 col 2: Death Summons N.O. Barham. The funeral of N.O. Barham, who died yesterday morning in this city, will be held this afternoon at 3 o’clock. Interment will take place in the Chico cemetery under the auspices of the Woodmen of the World, of which order the deceased was an honored member.

N.O. “Ollie” Barham was born at Bear River, Wyoming, fifty-three years ago. He came to Chico forty-nine years ago and had since made this city his home. He was an exempt member of Deluge Hose Company of the Chico Fire Department and held offices in that company several years ago. While exempt from duty he answered to the fire alarms faithfully until his illness, lasting over a year’s time, forced him to keep indoors. He was also a member of the local lodge of Knights of the Maccabees.

N.O. Barham is survived by his widow, Julia A. Barham; mother, Mrs. A.C. Barham of Chico; four sisters, Mrs. M.C. Coggins, Mrs. S.I. Goodfellow of San Francisco, Mrs. J.L. Boyles and Miss A.B. Barham of Chico; and three brothers, J.L. Barham of Manton; L.I. Barham and G.L. Barham of Chico.
