Mrs. Barge Dies in Zavalla
Funeral Services Held at 5 p.m. Today at Poland Cemetery
Funeral services for Mrs. J.W. Barge 71, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L.J. Havard in Zavalla Monday, were to be held at Poland Cemetery today at 5:00 p.m. The Rev. W.S. Moody, pastor of Church of Christ of Lufkin, was to officiate.
Mrs. Barge is survived by one Daughter, Mrs.Havard, one step daughter Mrs. W. A. Hambrick, Lufkin: six step-sons, Charles A. Barge, Jackson Miss., Tommy Barge,San Antonio, W.D. Barge,Zavalla, A.J. Barge,Zavalla, and C.A. Barge, Zavalla.
One brother, Fayette Rodrigers, Cleveland; and two Sisters, Misses Lonie and Avie Rodrigers of Clevland, two Grandchildren.
Oakley- Metcalf Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

"Jennie" as she was called was only married once and had only one child my Aunt Irene and its Irene's Son Bob that has gave me this information on the Rodrigers. Jennie's dad was from Spain and her mother Mary Ann Bipley Rodrigers was from Germany.
