Mrs. Bare was born Sept. 14, 1863 at Lisbon, Iowa, and died Nov. 5 at Armstrong at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Bunt. Mrs. Bare had been ill for some time. She is survived by her husband and daughter, Mrs. R.E. Bunt. Interment was made in the Armstrong Grove cemetery.

She was married to Edwin Franklin Bare at Marion, Ia., in December, 1881. One daughter was born to them, Margaret, now Mrs. R.E. Bunt of Armstrong, with whom she has made her home the past few years. In 1903 she adopted a daughter, Lenora, who is Mrs. Chas. Goss of Watertown, S.D. Mrs. Bare was a member of the Methodist church here and the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, her daughter, Mrs. R.E. Bunt and adopted daughter, Mrs. Chas. Goss, also one grand daughter, Mrs. Arnold So and two grandsons, Roy Bunt and Chas. R. Gross.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. J.D. Wolcott and burial was in Armstrong Grove cemetery.
