Charlotte was born the daughter of: Catherine Genevieve {Kuehn} Narva and John Werner Narva. She married Paul Edward Bardwell on October 24, 1953. Charlotte was employed as a secretary for New World Newspaper in Chicago, Illinois until the family moved to Houston, Texas in the Fall of 1955. Upon arrival in Houston, Charlotte and Paul became members of St. Christopher's Catholic Church where Charlotte began working as a volunteer. In 1974, the family again moved to their current location in the Sagemont area. They then became members of St. Luke's Catholic Church where Charlotte began working as a volunteer. She also made visits and volunteered with various nursing homes in the area. Her main love was prayer ministries.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Bardwell; sons Patrick Bardwell of Beaumont and Bill Bardwell of Clear Lake; daughter Cathy Leavitt, Houston; and 5 grandchildren, John Leavitt, David Leavitt, Lyndee Bardwell-Baker, Dakota Bardwell and Mary Bardwell.
