Ellen Irene Barclay, 71, was born Jan. 27, 1937, in Camdenton, the daughter of Kenneth Cecil and Opal Ellen (Butler) North. She died June 13, 2012, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield. She was united in marriage with Richard Jay Barclay on May 17, 1956. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard, on April 10, 2000; her son, Jackie Dean Barclay and wife, Vanessa; and three grandsons: Jay Paul Downing, Brandon James Barclay and Dylan Jay Barclay. Survivors include her daughter, Linda E. and husband, Wesley Harrison, Urbana; three sons: Ronald Jr., and wife, Cindy Barclay, Tunas, Robert D. Barclay, Macks Creek, and Steven R. Barclay, Buffalo; one brother, George Torrell, Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters: Helen Ogrisseg, Phoenix, and Polly Harper, Farmington; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
