Obituary of Daisy B. (Harlow) Barbour, daughter of Elmer L and Sarah (Witham) Harlow. Sister to Julia Edna Harlow. Descended from Sgt. William Harlow, Plymouth, MA
(From Old Obit...year 1906...hard to read...transposed by Connie, Daisy's Great Niece-Julia's Granddaughter)
Daisy B. Harlow was born in Pulaski county, Indiana, May 25, 1881 and died Nov. 29, 1906, aged 25 years, 6 months and 4 days.
She was married to William Barbour in Mt. Ayr on Sept. 29, 1901. To this union five children were born – Laurine, who lived only a few hours, Maudie A., Bessie B., Merna H., and the infant born Monday.
Mrs. Barbour had been a member of the Primative Baptist Church of Mt. Ayr for the past 10 years. Her Christian life spoke for itself through her sunny and happy disposition. She was a good, kind and devoted wife and mother and her sad loss to them cannot be told.
She leaves, besides her immediate family, a father, two brothers and two sisters, and her many friends to mourn their loss.
The funeral services were held at the M. E. church last Saturday. Rev. Jones, of Sheridan, Ind., conducted the service. Interment at Roseland cemetery.
