BRIGHAM CITY – Clara Burton Jensen Barber, 92, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2004 at the Brigham City Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born August 26, 1912 in Salt Lake City, Utah a daughter of Lyman and Ella Comings Burton. Clara married Theron E. Jensen November 21, 1935 in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death in June, 1966. She then married Norman Barber April 10, 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He preceded her in death December 4, 1975. She was active in the LDS Church serving in various callings. Clara also worked in the Salt Lake Temple. Surviving are her children, Nancy (Maurice) King, American Falls, ID, Kent (Jean) Jensen, Brigham City, Richard Gillman (Chieko) Jensen, Murrieta, CA, Sally (Don) Gibbons, Bear River City, UT, Janice (Ken) Summers, Plain City, UT. She was preceded in death by one son, Theron Jensen Jr.; and one grandson, Dann Gibbons. Funeral services held Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at the Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City. Interment in the Brigham City Cemetery.
