Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Odom Barber, who died in a Monroe Sanitarium, Tuesday, July 8, were held at the First Baptist Church, Winnfield, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. A. H. Cullen, pastor of the Baptist Church, and the Rev. C. C. Wier, pastor, First Methodist Church, had charge of the services. A large concourse of relatives and friends attended the last rites. Interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery.

The deceased was 37 years, 10 months, and 17 days old. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Odom of Tullos, well known Winn Parish citizens.

She is survived by her husband and an infant daughter, Mary Alice, of Winnsboro, La.; and the following stepchildren: Mrs. Theo Tarver, Mrs. Maude Sturdivant, Mrs. Lulah Tarver, Mrs. Elisha Barber, Mattie Barber, and Carmel Barber; four sisters, Miss Minnie Lee Odom, Natchitoches; Mrs. Ophelia Harper, Texas; Miss Inez Odom and Miss Eunice Odom, Tullos, and three brothers, Clarence and Austin of Texas and Charles of Shreveport; and her parents.
