Funeral services were held Friday, in the home, Rev. Ben Smith officiating, with burial in Oxbow Cemetery, Newbury, Vt., for Thomas Barber, 77, of Haverhill, who died December 23 in his home.

Survivors are the wife, Lynne Barber; son, Herbert B. Barber, Norwich, Vt.; daughter, Mrs. Emily E. Harper, Lonsdale, R.I.; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Whitehill of Newbury, Vt., Mrs. Emily Smith of South Newbury, Vt., and Mrs. Alice Wheeler of Haverhill; three brothers, Fred Barber of Yeldham, England, Harry Barber of North Thetford, Vt., and William Barber of Concord.

Bearers were Luther Wheeler, James Barber, James Whitehill, Francis Patridge, Richard Gamsby and John Smith.

The late Mr. Barber was born in Kedington, England, April 8, 1875, son of Charles Barber and Ann (Bowyer) Barber.

Mr. Barber lived in Kedington, Suffolk, England, and here, during his life. He attended schools in Kedington and Haverhill.
