Our loving wife and mother, Darlene L. Barber, passed away on May 30, 2011 at her home.

She was born April 3, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Donald Quick and Lillian Mudge Asher. She graduated from West High School in 1943. Darlene married the "love of her life", Bob Barber, in Madison, Wisconsin on June 2, 1943. They were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on October 3, 1978.

Survived by her husband; daughters Connie (Dan) Kirby, Judy (Gary) Hansen, Kathy (Wayne) Parry, and Nancy Wolfe; brother Randy Randall; eight grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Rose Park First Ward Chapel, 1152 West 800 North. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, on Friday, June 3, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. prior to the services.
Interment will be in the Bountiful Memorial Park.
