Southaven, Mississippi - Charles Barber, 79, died Friday, May 9, 2014 in Southaven. Survivors include his grandson and caregiver, Robert Gene "Michelle" Barber of Hernando, MS; his children, Nancy Barber of Washington; Joan Barber of Washington; Darlene Barber Vlachos of Alabama; Tami Vickers of Missouri and Chuck Barber Jr. of Nashville; a sister, Peggy Stufflebean of Missouri; 10 grandchildren and 16 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Gene "Bobby" Barber; and parents, Joe and Mary Barber; six brothers; and three sisters. The family will receive friends at Northridge Wood-haven Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 13, from 1 - 3 p.m. Funeral Services will be at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 13 at 3 p.m. Interment will be in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
