Aime Baptiste Sr., aged 59, died suddenly at 4 o'clock yesterday morning in his home, 27 Thomas avenue.

Mr. Baptiste was a retired employe of the Butler Water Company.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Katherine Duncan Baptiste; five sons, Eugene M. and Max M Baptiste of Butler, Raymond C. Baptiste of Cabot R. D. 1 and Leonard A. and Aime A. Baptiste Jr., at home; two daughters Mrs. Delphine Chambers of Cleveland O., and Mrs. Pauline Souser of Butler; four brothers, Marcel and Jules Baptiste of Butler and Max and McKinley Baptiste of Butler R. D. 3; a sister, Mrs. Robert Sinclair of Butler and nine grandchildren.

Mr. Baptiste was a member of the St. Peter's Roman Catholic church and the Eagles lodge 470.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral home, 201 East Cunningham street, from 2 until 4 o'clock and from 7 until 9 o'clock, today and tomorrow.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 o'clock Wednesday morning from the St. Peter's Roman Catholic church, with Rev. A. J. Weisenberger, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Peter's cemetery.
