The seven year old daughter of Mrs. Morgan Banta, died last week at the home of her parents in Kentucky. Mrs. Banta was formerly Miss Laura Bergen and resided in the Hopewell neighborhood.
HOPEWELL ~ We are sorry indeed to learn of the sudden death of the eldest child of Morgan and Laura Banta (nee Bergen). We understand death was due to membranous croup.
Anna Bergen is now in Kentucky, having gone to attend the funeral of her sisterโs child.
Margaret Bergen was at church Sunday and is visiting in our vicinity this week. She, too, was called to Kentucky by the death of her sisterโs child, and stopped here on her return home. Miss Bergen is in the state charity work and will go to Muncie in a few days and have charge of the charity work there.
