Willis C. Banning Porter Resident Dies
Willis Calvin Banning, 87, Porter, a resident of Wagoner County for 47 yean, died Sunday In his home at Porter.
Funeral services for Banning were held Tuesday afternoon at 8 o'clock In the Porter Baptist Church with burial in the Porter Cemetery under the direction of the Green Funeral Home, Banning Is survived by one sister, Ellsbeth Kogan.

Cal Banning Hurt In Auto Accident
W. C, Banning, a farmer living southwest of Porter, was seriously Injured Saturday afternoon in an automobile accident near Wagoner.
Banning was injured when an automobile In which he and George Hall, living in the Vanns Lake Community, was riding overturned about seven miles southwest of Wagoner.
Banning suffered a compound fracture of his left leg and a possible brain Injury, it was reported.
Hall escaped with only minor cuts and bruises. Banning was brought to Wagoner for emergency treatment and then rushed to a Muskogee hospital In a Hersman ambulance.
