She was bornin Watauga County, May 8, 1924, to Arthur M. and Alice Combs Banner. She was the widow of J. E. Joines, Sr., former owner and operator of Joines Furniture Company. She was a member pf First Presbyterian church.
Mrs. Joines in survived by one son, six sisters, seven brothers, and two grandchildren.
Services were conducted Saturday morning at First Presbyterian Church in Boone. Officiated by Dr. David A. Long, III and Reverend J. K. Parker. Burial followed in the Mount Lawn Memorial Park and Gardens.
Hampton Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements.
