BASTROP (Special) — Funeral services for Louis Marshall Banister, 66, of Bastrop, were scheduled for 3 p.m. today. Burial was to be in Riverview Cemetery in Monroe. A salesman for a power and metal firm, Mr. Banister died early Sunday morning in a hospital here after a brief illness.

Surviving are his wife:
Mrs. Myrtle A. Banister, Bastrop;
two daughters:
Mrs. Juanita Ballew, Little Rock, Ark.
Billie Ruth Bagwell (Mrs. James Edward McMullen), Perryville;
two brothers:
Joe Banister, Alexandria
Bob Banister, Chatham
seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers were to be M. G. McMullen, Earl McMullen, Leon Fontana, W. B. Hatten and Archie Brothers.
