James Walter Bangs, 56, died April 27, 2007 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce. He was born in Camden, NJ and lived in Fort Pierce for three years, coming from Orlando.

He served in the Army National Guard in Pennsylvania.

Survivors include his wife of six years, Cheryl Rell Bangs; his mother, Adelaide Bangs of Bellmawr, NJ; sons, James Bangs and Harold Bangs both of Winter Park; three sisters, Patricia Davidson of Lake Worth, Katherine Bay of Morristown, NJ and Jessica Bangs of Bellmawr; five brothers, Nelson Bangs and Joseph Bangs both of Williamstown, NJ, Edward Bangs and Robert Bangs both of Bellmawr, and Eugene Bangs of Runnemede, NJ; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Nelson Bangs and brother David Bangs.

SERVICES: Services will be private.
