Agnes E. Baney
Mrs. Agenes Emelia BANEY, 84, 129 East Fifth street, who was matron of the Fulton County Courthouse for 33 years, died at 9:15 a.m. today in the Miller nursing home. Ill for six months, she was at the nursing home for 1 1/2 months.
Mrs. Baney retired from her courthouse work three years ago.
Born in Cass county June 12, 1877, she was the daughter of Andrew and Emelia TICHFER FLYNN. She had lived in Rochester since 1917, moving here from Miami county.
Her first marriage was to Henry HOLLEY, her second was to William H. DALE and her third was to Reuben BANEY. All preceded in death. Mrs. Baney was a member of the Grace Methodist church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Elzie (Edith) TEEL, Denver; Mrs. Charles (Edna) SMITH, R.R. 3, Rochester, and Mrs. Dewey (Pauline) BIGGS, Rochester; two sons, Allen DALE, Pomona, Cal., and Edgar [BANEY], New Buffalo, Mich.; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren, and a brother, Frank [FLYNN], Logansport. The parents, a son, six sisters and three grandchildren preceded in death.
Final rites are pending at the Foster & Good funeral home.

Last rites will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Foster & Good funeral home for Mrs. Agnes Emelia BANEY, 84, 129 East Fifth street, who died Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. in the Miller nursing home.
The Rev.Ray MILLS of Grace Methodist church will officiate at rites and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
Mrs. Baney had been matron of the Courthouse for 33 years until her retirement three years ago.
