NORWICH - Marjory J. (Bancroft) Davis, 58, passed away peacefully, Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005, at her home in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Marjory was born in Albion on Sept, 23, 1947, the daughter of the late R. Burton and Rhoda Bancroft. She graduated from Norwich High School and worked in the bookkeeping department at the Chenango Memorial Hospital.

In 1979, she moved to Daytona Beach, Fla., where she worked as an accountant. Marjory was a long-time member of the Eagles Club. Her hobbies included gardening, bird watching, and interior design, and she had also enjoyed cake decorating and square dancing.

Survivors include her companion and soulmate, Skip Garrison of Daytona Beach; her son, Bryan Murray and his wife, Deborah, of Paramus, N.J.; her sister, Roberta Ehlert and her husband, Roger, of Altamont; three grandchildren, Christopher, Casey, and Conner Murray; a niece and nephew, Eileen and Brendan Ehlert.

Marjory was predeceased by her son, Shawn Murray. Her mother, Rhoda Bancroft, survived Marjory, but passed away on Jan. 27, 2006.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, 1156 N. Broad St., Norwich. A brief blessing will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
