Lelon "Jack" Bancroft age 83 a lifelong resident of Cleveland died Monday at the family residence. Mr. Bancroft was retired from Magic Chef with over 40 years of service and was of the Church of God Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents Darvis and Estella Bancroft, his wife Mary Price Bancroft one son Doug Bancroft, his sisters Naomi Die and Essilee Bancroft, brothers Delbert, Stacey, Cletus and Ralph Bancroft.
He is survived by his son Steve Bancroft of Cleveland, his sisters Doris Hopkins of Maryland and Genney McFarland and her husband Joe of McDonald one brother Don Bancroft of Cleveland. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held 8pm Friday evening at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Tim Woody and Pastor Mark Woody officiating. There will be a private interment on Saturday.
