Kathryn E. Hoffer, 83, formerly of North Colebrook Road, Mastersonville, died of natural causes Friday morning at Mount Hope Church Home, Manheim.
A homemaker, she was a member of Mastersonville Brethren in Christ Church.
She volunteered at the Re-Uzit Shop in Mount Joy and belonged to the auxiliaries of Pleasant View Retirement Community and Mastersonville Fire Company.
Mrs. Hoffer enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the United States and was an avid reader.
Born in Dauphin County, she was the daughter of the late John and Annie Wenger Bamberger.
Her husband, Chester S. Hoffer, died in 1980.
Surviving are two sons, Clair C., married to Beth Ann Straton Hoffer, and Harry L., married to Diane Mummau Hoffer, both of Manheim; two daughters, Joyce E., married to Gerald R. Brandt of Manheim, and Karen J. McBeth of Carlisle; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Edith, married to Roy Kreider of Annville.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Mark, David and Richard Bamberger.
