Funeral services were held yesterday at the Huff Funeral Home for Mrs. Edward Balsley, sixty-two years old, who died Sunday afternoon at a convalescents home in Plymouth after a long illness. Rev. E. C. Reidenbach of Grace United Brethren church officiated in the services and burial was in the Bremen cemetery.
Mrs. Balsley was formerly Miss Edith Cripe. She was born in Tyner Sept. 2, 1880, and had been a resident of this community for many years. She was united in marriage with Edward Balsley Dec 31, 1899. He survives with three daughters --- Mrs. Floyd Stevens, Bremen; Mrs. Oliver J. Kushto, South Bend; and Mrs. Chester Payne, Bremen. There is one brother, Charles Cripe of Bangor, Mich. Mrs. Balsley was a member of Grace United Brethren church.
