Husband of Patricia Gallerizzo Balser for 43 years, he worked for many years in the construction equipment field. He was a life member and volunteer of the Montgomery County Argricultural Center and 4-H. In addition to his wife, he was survived by three children, David Balser and his wife Lori, Robert Balser, and Michele Lackner and her husband Al; three grandchildren. He was buried on July 8, 2009.
