ALDEN F. BALLOU SR., 64, of Tourtellot Hill Road, Chepachet, owner of the Alden F. Ballou Saw Mill for the past 15 years, died yesterday at home.
He was the husband of Constance L. (Steere) Ballou.
Born in Glocester, he was a son of the late Alden F. and Bertha (DeVaudreuil) Ballou.
Mr. Ballou also worked for the Glocester Highway Department for 10 years until 1980. He had been head machinist for the former Stillwater Worsted Co. for 10 years.
Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, two daughters, two brothers, four sisters and six grandchildren.
