Betty Wright Ballenger, 87, of 100 Atherton Way, Greer, SC, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2012.
Born March 20, 1924 in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late William and Bessie Dance Wright. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Grady Ballenger, Sr., a son, Henry Grady "Hank" Ballenger, Jr.
Surviving are her daughter, Elizabeth "Betsy" Ballenger of Greer, SC; a sister, Doris W. Goodlett; two grandchildren, Currie Wagner (James) and Henry Grady Ballenger, III (Emily) and three great-grandchildren, Madison, Graham and Parker Wagner and a daughter-in-law, Mary Robinson (Jim)
Services will be conducted 1PM Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dr. Randolph Kowalski and Reverend Brian Stewart. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 12noon until 12:45 PM in the church parlor. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or to McCall Hospice House.
