John Owen Ballard, 59, Oklahoma City, died June 4 at South Community hospital. He was a retired Section Chief for Refueling at Tinker Air Force Base, was a member of South Lee United Methodist church, & a member of the Woodmen of the World. Survived by his wife, Blanche (Peggy), 1 son, Johnny Carl Ballard of Oklahoma City, 2 brothers, Jim Ballard of Shawnee & Roy Ballard of El Sobrante, Calif, 1 sister, Beatrice Mattingly of Valiejo, Calif. Services will be 2pm Friday at Colonial chapel of Vondel L. Smith & Sons mortuary.
