Mrs. Nell Wilson Ball, age 90, of 211 Milton Brown Heirs Road, Boone, died Thursday, September 8, 2005, at Glenbridge Health Care Center.
Mrs. Ball is survived by three daughters, Charlotte Gatch and husband Tommy of Miami Lakes, Florida, Elizabeth Wills and husband Larry of Mauldin, South Carolina and Ginny Gaddy and husband Bud of Franklin, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Cyndi Ziegler and husband Larry of Boone and Jill Caldwell and husband Chris of Knoxville, Tennessee; five grandsons, Steve Gatch of Mountain City, Tennessee, Micahel Wills and wife Shirleen and Mark wills and wife Robin, all of Greenville, South Carolina, Gregg McNey of Franklin, Tennessee and Kenneth Wills and wife Meri of Greenville, South Carolina. Fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Ball; one granddaughter, Keitha Gatch; her father and mother, Benjamin Lee and Elizabeth Norris Wilson; three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services for Mrs. Nell Wilson Ball will be conducted Friday afternoon, September 9, 2005, at 2:00 o'clock, at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Bud Russell. Burial will follow in Vista Memorial Gardens in Miami Lakes, Florida.
