Formerly a part of the Canal Zone, Balboa is now part of Panama City's township of Ancón. Balboa is the Pacific-side port of the Panama Canal. From the French Broad Masonic Lodge #292, Marshall: 13 April 1939 at a Special meeting – "Bro. E.F. Ball having died in Balboa, C.Z.(Canal Zone), and the purpose of this communication was to lay Bro. Ball to rest."
