ZANESVILLE: Ruth Katherine Ball, 83, of Zanesville, died at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Appletree Homes in Dresden. She was born on November 18, 1931 in Zanesville a daughter of the late James and Bertha Fusner. She loved gardening, canning, traveling, and camping. She was retired from Lear Corp. She enjoyed spending time with all her family. She is survived by three children, J. (Tim) Baker, Sr., Rusty (Wendy) Ball, and Holly (Mike) Hoge; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard (Sally) Fusner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald V. Ball; one son, G. (Tom) Baker; brothers and sisters, Warren Fusner, Ralph "Bub" Fusner, Betty Mox, Russell Fusner, Dorothy "Dot" Carter, Robert Fusner, and Carolyn Crozier. Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2015 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 5765 Gladstone Drive in White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2015. Rev. Joy French officiating. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park.
