She was born March 14, 1940, to Chester and Mary (Kenyon) Hart in Mt. Pleasant, Pa.
Carol married Stephen Balko on Oct. 20, 1961.
Carol was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Carol was a loving nanny to many families in the area, loved to shop, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Warren.
Loving memories of Carol will be carried on by her husband, Stephen G. Balko of Warren; son, Stephen H. Balko of Wellston; daughters, Kimberly (Adam) Hammonds of Howland, and Kelli (Joseph) Komlanc of Niles; sisters, Gloria Seacrest of Fairless, Pa. and Virginia Santone of Greensburg, Pa.; grandchildren, Timothy and Sean Hammonds, Patrick, Stephen A. and Alyssa Balko, and Joey and Leighton Komlanc; and many nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by a son, Scott Balko; five brothers; and two sisters.
Entombment will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
