BALES, JUANITA MARIE LOVELACE - age 93, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the Brakebill Nursing Center after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
She was of a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Bales; children, Charles Elbert Bales, Cecil Bales and daughter, Mary Alexander; parents, Royal Alta and Etta Lovelace; brother, Albert Lovelace; and sister, Nettie.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna Spurgeon and husband, Richard; son, Doug Bales; sister, Betty Ruth Finley and son-in-law, Bill Alexander; daughters-in-law, Eleanor Bales and Ann Bales; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening, April 6, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Woodlawn Cemetery for a graveside service.
