BALES, BURRELL W. - age 62, of Cave-in-Rock, Ill., formerly of Jefferson County, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, December 30, 1992 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado, Ill. Member of Cave-in-Rock Church of Christ, Owner and operator of B.W. Bales Drilling Co. for over 50 years before retirement. Preceded in death by wife, Ruth Trent Bales. Survived by: Sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and George Willard and sister, Evelyn H. Bales, all of Knoxville; brother and sister-in-law, Roy R., Jr. and Dorothy Bales of Jefferson City; two nephews, Daniel and Michael Bales; niece, Angelyn Bales. Funeral services 2 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 1993 Farrar's Chapel, Jefferson City, Tenn. with Rev. Earl Northern officiating. Interment Trentville Cemetery.
