TAZEWELL, Va. — Mrs. Mollie Adair, age 94, of Tazewell, Va., formerly of Richlands, Va., passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Tazewell, Va.
She was born on October 29, 1914 in Tazewell County, Va. and was the daughter of the late Dave Robert Baldwin and Bessie Lee Taylor Baldwin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Harvey Adair. They had twelve children.
Mollie is survived by two sons, Otis Adair and wife Glenna of Dayton, Ohio, David Crokette Adair and wife Patsy of Medway, Ohio; one daughter, Georgia Hylton and husband Leon of Doran, Va. and one stepson, Foster Adair and wife Athlene of Iaeger, W.Va.; 17 grandchildren; four step grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive. She also leaves behind many friends and family at Heritage Hall Health Care Center at Tazewell, Va., Dr. Carpio and associates and Preferred Hospice.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie Adair will be conducted at the Singleton Funeral Service Chapel in Cedar Bluff, Va. with Minister Don Baldwin officiating.
Burial will follow in the Cordle Cemetery at Road Ridge, Va.
