Graveside services for Mrs. Daisy Baldwin, 99, of Correctionville were held Tuesday, May 15, 1984, at 10:30 a.m. at the Correctionville Cemetery with Rev. Kermit Gladfelter officiating under direction of Barker Funeral Service.

Mrs. Baldwin passed away May 11, 1984, at the age of 99 years, 2 months and 19 days.

Daisy Eleanor Baldwin was born to James and DeLora Law on February 22, 1885, in Ida Co., Iowa.

She attended country schools and finished her schooling at Garfield school in Ida County at age 18.

On March 1, 1911, she married Charles A. Baldwin at Correctionville.

Charles passed away in 1934.

To this union three sons were born, Harley who passed away in 1939, Floyd and Clifford.

Daisy was more than a homemaker. She loved to paint, draw and work with wood.

She made several sets of doll furniture after moving to Colonial Manor in 1966. She made so many "Sock Dolls" she became known to the people of this area as the "Doll Lady".

She was a long time member of the United Methodist church.

Survivors include two sons, Floyd of Sioux City and Clifford of Dallas, Texas, seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren plus a host of other relatives and friends
