Parents: Abner Baldwin, Sr. (1726-1781) & Anne Marsh (1733-1781). (Born in Milford, New Haven Co., CT on 27 May 1726 to David Baldwin (1712-1765) and Abigail Wilkinson. Abner married Anne Marsh 10 Jan. 1754 in Litchfield, Litchfield Co., Conn. and had 9 children. He passed away on 26 April 1781 in Fairfield, Fairfield Co., Connecticut*.)

Abner & Anne Baldwin had the following children:
• Abner Baldwin, Jr.
• William Baldwin, b. 28 Feb. 1755; d. ca 1834, same place
• James Baldwin, b. 12 Nov. 1758; d. prior to 27 May 1848 same location
• David Baldwin, b. 14 Mar. 1761; d. 1771 same location.
• John Baldwin, b. 22 Jan. 1763
• John Baldwin, b. 3 June 1764
• Charles Baldwin, b. 8 May 1766; d. 4 Sept. 1838, same place
• Susanna Baldwin, b. 17 Oct. 1769

Abner, Jr. served during the American Revolution from Connecticut. (DAR Ancestor #: A005197) Possibly served in the Seventeenth Regiment Connecticut Militia - Raised 1774
(Litchfield (Formerly of the 13th Conn. Regt. formed in 1739). Also known as the 8th Connecticut Regiment.


He m. Achsah Andrus. Two of their children were Irena, b. March 24, 1779 and John, b. April 16, 1789. Another record shows Irene was b. 1789 and John 1791.
