She attended Springfield schools and was a wonderful homemaker most of her life.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing. She worked a number of years at American Optical and Vermont Research. She was also a volunteer driver with SEVCA and a courier for Springfield Labs for several years.
She was a member of Springfield Assembly of God Church and assisted for many years in the Sunday School program.
On Dec. 26, 1948, she married her lifelong companion, Wilfred E. Lambert. They were married for 66 years and were inseparable.
She is survived by her husband Wilfred, three children, Ellen Watkins and her husband, Glenn, Rod Lambert and his wife, Cheryle, and Darryl Lambert, all of Springfield. She is also survived by five grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery in Springfield.
