Mrs. Tracie Dell Argabright, 76, widow of Frank W. Argabright, and a resident of the Bridgewater community for 25 years, died unexpectedly at 10:00 o'clock Saturday night.
Mrs. Argabright who was living with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Harlow, at 1420 Mulberry Street in Waynesboro, became ill and was rushed to the hospital Saturday night but only lived a few minutes.
A daughter of Charles Baker and Virginia Armentrout Baker, she was born on March 29, 1886 in the Massanetta Springs community. She later lived in Bridgewater. For the past several years she had been making her home with her children. She devoted much of her time to practical nursing and was well known. She was a member of the St.
Andrews United Church of Christ at Weyers Cave.
Her husband, Frank W. Argabright, died Aug. 18, 1942. She is survived by two children, Mrs. W. L. Harlow, of Waynesboro; and Nelson L. Argabright, of Weyers Cave; and six grandchildren.
She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Stella Yancey, of Harrisonburg; Mrs. Georgia Deavers, of Bridgewater; and Mrs. Annie Deavers, of Springfield, Ohio; and one brother, Clarence C. Baker, of Liberty, Md., Four great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the St. Andrews Church at Weyers Cave with the Rev. J. Keller Brantley officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery at Bridgewater.
The body now rests at the Koontz and Lindsey Funeral Chapel at Weyers Cave where the members of the family will receive friends this evening from 7:30 until 8:30. Her body will remain in the Church from one until two o'clock on Tuesday and the relatives will meet at the Koontz Chapel at Weyers Cave prior to leaving for the Church.
