She was a lifelong resident of Scott County, Va., the widow of Rhea Anderson, and a homemaker. She was a member of Gardners Chapel Primitive Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Barsha B. Baker and Norman L. Baker; one daughter; four brothers; four sisters.
Surviving are four daughters, Mae Anderson, of the home, Mrs. Kenneth (Virginia) McClain, Blountville, Elsie Taylor, Kingsport, Mrs. Charles 'Bill' (Mary Evelyn) McConnell, Gate City, Va.; five sons, Robert Rhea Anderson, Joe E. Ander¬son, and James 'Kermit' Ander¬son, all of Blountville, Billy Jack Anderson, of the home, Wayne Anderson, Bristol, Va.; 10 grand¬children; four great-grandchildren; one brother, N.L. Baker Jr., Bristol, Va.; several nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted Satur¬day in Gardners Chapel Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Bob¬by Carter, Elder Gerald Hopkins, and Elder John Henry Sybert of¬ficiating. Burial was in the Anderson Cemetery, Scott County, Va.
