Helen Barker Allen, age 81 of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013. She was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church and was employed by Farmers Mutual Insurance Company for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her son Gale Allen; parents, Richard and Oda Jane Barker; sisters, Blanche Williams and Bonny June Barker; brother, David Barker; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sidon Paul and Leona Allen.

The family will receive friends 2-4:45 PM Saturday with funeral service to follow at 5 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Melvin Carr and Rev. Kent Loveday officiating.
