Margaret Anita Parker Dess Allen, 57, of Trumann, AR., died Tuesday, February 26, 2013, in Trumann.
She was born in Jonesboro, Ark., to the late Luther Aries Baker and Emma Louise Wadlington Black.
She had lived in Trumann the past 26 years and was a homemaker and a member of the River of Life Church in Judsonia, Ark. Mrs. Allen was a member of Magna Carter Dames, was a daughter of the American Revolution Thomas Wadlington, United Daughters of the Confederacy Francis Marion Wadlington, Cobbs Company Kentucky, The Sovereign Colonial Society.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Daniel Eugene Dees and Alford Lee Parker, one sister, Carolyn Marie Black, one brother, Richard Henry Black and her parents.
She is survived by one daughter, Tina Parker Jones of Trumann; three sons, Robert Parker of Galien, Mich., Billy Parker and David Parker both of Trumann; four brothers, Howard Lee Baker of Galien, Mich., Luther Allen Baker of Buchanan, Mich., Michael Anthony Black of Newport, Ark., and Marshall Wayne Black of Berrien Springs, Mich.; three sisters, Bettie Louise Lowery of Stevensville, Mich., Sandra Kaye Baker of Crossville, Tenn., and Lynda Day of Las Vegas; Nev., 12 grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Burial was in Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg. Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann was in charge of arrangements.
