Adam Samuel Baker, 24, of 81 Washington St., Lakeport, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Friday, May 14, 2010.

Adam was born Feb. 9, 1986, in Laconia. He was a lifetime resident of the Lakes Region and graduated from Inter-Lakes High School in Meredith in 2004. At the time of his death, he was employed at O.D.M. in Laconia.

Adam enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and computers. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth (Gaffney) Baker, of Lakeport and loved by an extended family throughout New Hampshire.

He was predeceased by his father, Samuel P. Baker, in 1992.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 17, 2010, from 5-8 p.m. in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia. A graveside service will be held at the family lot in Village Cemetery, Route 3, Meredith, on Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at 10 a.m.

In lieu, memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia NH 03247.

Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, is in charge of the arrangements.
