Mrs. C. D. Baker (Agnes McKinney) was born at Carleton, Oct. 19, 1878 and spent the greater part of her life there.
The family group moved away after the death of their parents.
Mrs. Baker passed away Dec. 1, 1956 at a hospital in Fremont.
She was married to Clark D. Baker at Nelson, Aug. 13, 1896.
They were in the mercantile business with Mr. & Mrs. Larry Detweiler and Mr. Baker was a rural mail carrier until his retirement.
There were two daughters, born to this union.
Survivors include her husband, two daughters: Mrs Mary Robinson of Fremont and Mrs. Bess Shipley of Topeka, Kans.;
two sisters: Mrs. Harry Trout of Sun Valley, Cal., and Mrs. John Eberhardt of Gladco, Kans.; two grandsons and one great grandson.
Funeral services were held at the Carleton Methodist Church, Dec. 3rd. Rev. Mohnkern was in charge.
Burial in Carleton Cemetery.
