BAKER, Mary Elizabeth, 84, of Manchester, Tennessee, died Monday, July 28, 1997 at Manchester Medical Center. A native of Huntsville, Alabama she was the daughter of Thomas Watkins and Jennie Watkins. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband William B. Baker in 1976. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Kathy Bennett, Manchester, Tennessee; two sons, John Ladd, Monteagle, Tennessee, Charles Raymond Baker, Manchester; Eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren; two nieces and three nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 30, 1997 at Gilmore Funeral Chapel, Rev. Floyd Miles officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Gilmore Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
