NDIANOLA – Funeral services for Harvey "Big Man" Baker Jr., 79, of Indianola, will be 2 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Union Grove M.B. Church, Indianola. He died August 16, 2011. Burial will follow in Riverside Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Indianola.
He is survived by his wife: Dollie M. Baker of Indianola; mother-in-law: Jessie Mae Woods of Indianola; sisters: Earnestine Wimbley of Chicago, Ill., Mildred Vance of Detroit, Mic., and Fannie Baker of Isola; a host of daughters, sons, grands, great-grands, great-great-grands, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, August 19, 2011 from 2 until 6 p.m. The Rev. Cedric Reed will officiate.
