BAKER Floyd R. (Dock), born September 28, 1908 in Denton County, Texas, to Joseph and Mary Baker, passed away Thursday, November 14th, 2002 in OKC. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Viona of the home, four children, Carl and wife Beverly of Moore, Jean Price and husband Dean of OKC, Ken and wife Reba of Edmond, and Wayne of Titusville, PA, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces and many friends. Floyd retired as shop supervisor and dispatcher from City Bus Co. He was a Christian and a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene, where, in 1955, he organized and for many years coached the churches first men's fast-pitch softball team. After retiring from City Bus, he moved to Wetumka where he owned and operated the Baker Ranch until ill health forced him to move back to OKC in 1988. Floyd had many hobbies and was an avid gardener and fisherman. He looked forward to meeting with family and friends for the annual deer hunt on the ranch each fall. Funeral Services will be 10am Monday, November 18th, 2002 at Trinity Church of the Nazarene with Dr. Stan Tolar and Rev. Rodney McDonald officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Baggerley South 5708 S. Western, OKC
