Julia Ann Baker was the daughter of Jasper Carroll Baker and Elizabeth Catherine Bull, she came from Pioneer Families her Grandfather Larkin Baker came from Missouri with Hall Medlin and settled with his family, in "Peters Colony" in Denton, Texas. Her Mother's family moved from Wisconsin to Denton, Texas on the trip by wagon, her Grandfather William Bull became ill and died of a fever and was buried in Horse Creek, Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory, in a unmarked grave. Her Mother Elizabeth Bull wrote a letter to her family in Wisconsin telling of her Father's death and the letter is posted on the Denton Texas Web Site, there were many hardship in coming to Texas. There were Indian Raids, the burning of the Court House by Outlaws, that resulted in lost records, which makes it difficult to find information for Denton County, families.
Julia Ann Baker married Lebe Abney Jones August 12, 1880 in Denton County, Texas. The United States Census of 1900 & 1910 of Bowie, Texas shows Julia Jones with son Raymond A Jones.
Sometime between 1900-1917, Julia married Unknown Temple, her death Certificate has the information showing she died in 1917 in Lewisville, Denton County, Texas, and was buried in Flower Mound. There is no monument for Julia Ann Temple, her sister Nancy Lott's husband H. H. (Henry Harden)Lott gave the information on her death certificate.

Julia was the mother of one child Raymond A Jones he is buried at Old Hall Cemetery, Denton, Texas.
I normally do not add Death Certificates to Memorials, but the picture I have her is a PDF file and I can't download onto Find A Grave. This certificate show her father is Jasper C Baker and mother Elizabeth Bull and her last name is Temple.
